How I got Rid of my Muffin Top….

I found mine in my late 40’s,…..a strange phenomenon, really, because I didn’t think my training or eating had changed.

And my hormones took a tumble too. And I just thought it was called ‘life’: busy gal with a child, hubby, business, household…you know.

There wasn’t a lot of support, or knowledge about it, and even less about hormones, so I toughed it out, and was able to eke through my 40’s…

Then it got worse in my 50’s, with….MENOPAUSE. My body was definitely changing, and not in ways that I liked…night sweats, mood swings, weight gain, tiredness, depression…

So I decided to get educated. I was, after all, a fitness gal, a coach / athlete / competitor, and learn, truly learn, about just how much of my ‘changing landscape (and now tanking metabolism) was due to aging / menopause / hormonal dips and how much was truly affected by eating and training?

It’s been 15 years on the Path, and I think I finally figured it out! Whew! And my metabolism is rockin’ and my muffin top has (finally) disappeared…WITHOUT calorie restriction, cardio, excessive training (I train 4-5 days a week) and supposed supplements to ‘melt the fat’. Just throw those things in the garbage…save your money!

In our Fall Best Shape Challenge, I will be devoting a whole week to both Hormonal havoc and Metabolism Mayhem, because, well, us women need to focus in. It is NOT your imagination, and it’s NOT due to you NOT doing the work, or eating poorly, or whatever reasons you may think of…there is LOTS you can do about it!

And as usual, we’ll have our Warrior Woman Workouts, which includes our usual Great Glute workouts, Awesome Abs, and all our tried and true circuit-style moves to hit all your lovely bodyparts. You’ll see…
